Pfizer HCP Web Experience Lead in New York City, New York

Role Summary

The Omnichannel Services and Solutions (OSS) team deliver digital marketing technology, solutions and services across all business units and markets within Pfizer and is part of the Customer and Commercial Creation Centre (C4) organisation in Pfizer Digital , enabling the delivery of solutions and services which are both compliant but also in line with Pfizer technology and commercial strategies.

As the HCP Experience Lead for OSS's, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical architecture, platforms, and tools that power our end-to-end marketing solutions. Working with the Chief Marketing Office as your primary customer, you will serve as a strategic partner and technical leader, collaborating cross-functionally to drive the delivery of innovative, high-performing digital experiences for our clients.

Through this role, you play a critical part in Pfizer's relentless pursuit of breakthroughs that change patients' lives.

Role Responsibility

  • Oversee critical functions of the HCP platforms, including website development, SEO, analytics, and content delivery.

  • Lead multiple Agile/Scrum teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge digital marketing solutions.

  • Serve as a strategic thought leader, contributing to the roadmap and vision for next-generation products and services.

  • See the bigger picture across Pfizer and implement long-term solutions and procedures that are in the best interest of the business and patients.

  • Realise and execute on CMO vision of a coherent end to end experience for HCP's globally across our various platforms and assets.

  • Utilise knowledge in Adobe Workfront, Assets, Franklin, Web Builder and the Content Supply Chain to achieve the long-term marketing and communication goals to HCP's.

  • Manage relationships with vendor partners and development teams, working collaboratively to measure and continually improve performance.

  • Foster strong partnerships with commercial teams, enabling the adoption of technical services and solutions that drive business impact.

  • Work closely with peers and leadership to measure, analyze, and optimize service delivery.

  • Manage budgets, financials, and reporting for your areas of responsibility.

  • Implement and monitor quality, security, and compliance standards across all projects to ensure the integrity and reliability of our platforms.

Development

  • Spearhead a talented software development team focused on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the strategic requirements of the CMO and Pfizer's goals.

  • Identify and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with Pfizer's overarching business objectives and executive directives.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather input, manage expectations, and coordinate the successful execution of PfizerPro initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the development team.

Delivery

  • Bring subject matter expertise to Content Management/Delivery technologies, and world-class leadership in agile, customer, and user experience to accelerate and enhance the delivery of engaging and valuable experiences.

  • Manage and lead a team of full-time employees, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

  • Accountable for multiple Business Unit and global project deliveries, leading a large number of vendor and scrum teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred but not essential.

  • Over 10 years of experience leading software development teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects that achieve strategic business goals.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to navigate cross-functional dynamics.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and mentor junior team members.

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with Pfizer's products and services is essential.

  • Proven track record of driving the adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies and fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment.

  • Deep technical expertise and vision for evolving digital solutions to meet emerging customer needs.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align diverse groups around a common mission.

  • Demonstrated experience as an information technology professional in the web.

  • Strong skills relative to management, analysis, design, installation, integration and maintenance of applications and related business processes.

  • Strong knowledge of web based marketing concepts as applicable to Customer marketing.

  • Strong knowledge of mobile web and application concepts as applicable to Customer marketing.

  • Project planning, management, and organization skills.

  • Proven experience working with business teams developing and delivering strategy and operating plans with demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, and relationship management.

  • High level of awareness of internal and external technology trends.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Primarily computer-based work.This role will be demanding and will require self-regulation of workload and effective time management to be successful.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Travel will be required as part of this role.Expectations around travel will vary but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to Pfizer World Headquarters.

Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 function.This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours.Flexibility is desired as needed.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
