Design, develop and modify software applications and systems and related duties as assigned by the Company’s engineering management. Perform application development for mobile applications and backend utilizing Java and related technologies. Review code and code quality. Build robust, lasting, and scalable software products. Modify existing software to correct errors, allowing it to adapt to new hardware and/or improve performance. Perform Unit testing and Unit test fixture for new and existing applications. Customize automated and advanced tools for the Company’s data storage infrastructure that spans across multiple data-centers. Work cross functionally with product managers and program managers to maintain localization roadmap. Extend and maintain localization translation pipelines to support new uses cases and locales. Required education: Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field. Required Skills: Academic knowledge and/or professional experience in: Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python. Development tools (Proficiency in at least one of the following): Git, Gradle, IntelliJ, Google App Engine.
