Growing New York City organization is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist. In this role, you will be managing and executing all facets of accounts receivable, including billing, collection, and reporting activities. You will also be operating and maintaining the NetSuite system for our financial functions, and will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and financial growth goals.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of accounts receivable including billing, collection, and reporting activities

• Operate and maintain the NetSuite system for the organization's financial functions

• Generate and send out invoices, follow up with clients on unpaid bills, and resolve any billing issues

• Analyze client accounts and prepare reports on receivables, payables, cash flow, etc.

• Assist with the month-end closing process, conduct research, and make correction journal entries for account discrepancies

• Participate in accounting related projects or initiatives as required

• Prepare cash and check payments for bank; total and record the deposit amounts, fill out deposit slips and make deposits

• Collaborate with the sales department to manage client accounts, resolve any inconsistencies and make financial arrangements

• Ensure all customers are promptly billed and collections are performed in a timely manner

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of receivable accounts in NetSuite, investigating any discrepancies.Growing New

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a related role.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential.

• Knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management required.

• Experience with billing procedures and cash applications is necessary.

• Experience in cash collections and commercial collections is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience with Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite is highly valued.

• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must.

• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
