JPMorgan Chase AI Solutions Delivery Manager - Vice President in New York, New York

At JPMorgan Chase & Co., we are pioneering the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technology within the financial services sector.

As a Vice President AI Solutions Delivery Manager in the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational and strategic delivery of our advanced initiatives. This position is instrumental in promoting the successful integration and utilization of GenAI technologies across the firm, ensuring they align with our business objectives and enhance our services.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of GenAI solution development and delivery from initial planning to final deployment, focusing on internal use cases across the Firm. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards (Strategic Delivery Oversight)

  • Evaluate the operational needs of GenAI implementations, assess technological options, and make strategic decisions based on key trade-offs such as performance, availability, and cost (Operational Evaluation and Decision Making)

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with business teams, cloud Infrastructure teams, vendors, AI platforms and data platform teams, data science teams, and engineering teams. Ensure alignment and facilitate seamless communication across these groups (Collaborative Leadership)

  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the transition of use cases from development to production, focusing on the financial impact and efficiency improvements within the firm (Impact Measurement)

  • Manage communications related to fixes, enhancements, and new feature deployments, ensuring clarity and alignment across all internal stakeholders (Communication and Deployment)

  • Identify risks and barriers proactively to success, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Regularly update leadership on status, risks, and opportunities through comprehensive reporting (Risk Assessment and Mitigation)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

  • 6+ years' experience (or 5+ years + advanced degree) in technology delivery management, project management, or program management

  • Experience working in Agile methodologies and delivering at speed and scale

  • Experience working with engineers and data scientists towards building products

  • Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira

  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive significant technological initiatives

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence management and stakeholders

  • Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1-3+ years' experience with AI or Machine Learning (ML) solutions delivery

  • Scrum training through experience or coursework

  • Graduate degree in in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

  • Understanding of GenAI concepts through experience or coursework
