Adecco is partnering with a Facilities Services company in Midtown, NY 10018.
They are in seek of an Accounts Receivable Assistant. The position pays $23-26/HR DOE
Duties Include:
Invoice generation and distribution:
Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers according to established procedures and deadlines.
Payment collection:
Monitor outstanding invoices, contact customers regarding overdue payments, and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
Payment posting and reconciliation:
Record customer payments received, match them to outstanding invoices, and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Account maintenance:
Update customer information, including contact details and billing addresses, within the accounting system.
Dispute resolution:
Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries, disputes, and credit issues.
Reporting and analysis:
Generate regular accounts receivable reports, analyze trends, and identify potential collection issues.
Customer communication:
Maintain positive relationships with customers through clear and professional communication regarding billing and payment matters.
Compliance adherence:
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations regarding billing and collections practices.
Required skills:
Strong attention to detail: Accuracy in data entry and invoice processing is crucial.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers regarding billing issues and payment expectations.
Analytical skills: Analyze data to identify trends and potential problems in the accounts receivable process.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and customer concerns efficiently.
Proficiency in accounting software: Familiarity with accounting systems to manage customer accounts and generate reports.
Organizational skills: Manage a high volume of invoices and customer accounts efficiently.
Relevant experience:
Previous experience in an accounts receivable role within a similar industry.
Knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
