JPMorgan Chase Asset Management - Institutional Sales Support - Associate in New York, New York

Job Summary:

As an Institutional Sales Associate within our Asset Management team, you will be helping our Institutional & Sub Advisory clients navigate the complexities of the broader capital markets by offering timely solutions. You will partner with our team of Client Advisors and strive to meet the goals for your territory by successfully marketing and supporting JP Morgan Strategies. This role is rewarding if you like to work collaboratively, are a strong communicator, and enjoy making a true difference in helping clients achieve their investing goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with top-tier clients and prospects through consultative, proactive phone conversations that deliver the JPMAMC value proposition

  • Provide superior client service by being responsive, thoughtful and making the clients' needs the focus

  • Leverage cutting-edge technological tools to showcase our resources to clients in a more user-friendly way

  • Partner with Client Advisors by being completely aligned on the objectives needed to achieve the territory's goals

  • Demonstrate effective territory management skills by focusing on timely follow-up, conducting strategy reviews, scheduling meetings/events and lead generation

  • Proactively identify opportunities to engage clients/prospects around strategic initiatives

  • Own territory data in CRM & responsible for ongoing maintenance

  • Be responsible for the coordination & delivery of client communications & events

  • Convey the thought leadership of our Market Insights team & other resources to aid clients' understanding of the ever-changing market landscape

  • Partner with Client Advisors to identify and cultivate relationships with prospects. Leverage industry publications, conferences, etc. to identify trends & opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Skills, & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Two years of financial service experience preferred and/or related sales leadership experience

  • Self-starter with passion for sales and the financial markets

  • Proven results shown through sustainable achievement in a competitive environment

  • Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the client, competition, and marketplace

  • Capacity to build relationships across entire organization and with our partner firms

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
