Neuropsychologist Job Opening at Columbia University Irving Medical Center
Position Titles: Instructor/Assistant Professor level positions in the Department of Psychiatry at
Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)
Job Description:
There are immediate openings for child and/or adult-focused neuropsychologists at the Columbia
University Irving Medical Center Faculty Practice Organization offices in NYC.
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking neuropsychologists assigned to work in the Faculty Practice
Organization at CUIMC. These are full-time, clinical positions in an outpatient setting.
Primary responsibilities involve conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and
providing associated recommendations for a wide age range, including children, adolescents and
adults.
Ideal applicants should have previous experience conducting neuropsychological assessment,
including completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, strong interpersonal
skills, and the ability to work well across disciplines and function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary
team. Additional preference for candidates with experience and training in adult-focused
neuropsychology.
Candidates will have opportunities to attend case conferences, peer supervision, and Grand Rounds
at CUIMC. Candidates will work closely with a clinical team, including other neuropsychologists,
psychologists/social workers, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse-practitioners. Opportunities may exist
for clinical supervision and teaching.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
PsyD or PhD in Clinical or School Psychology
Completion of a two-year Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship
NYS license required.
Candidates will be required to obtain a NJ license.
Instructor level requires graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology,
and completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship program. Assistant Professor level
requires 2-3 years clinical experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
Salary Range
Psychologists: $105,000 - $130,000;
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range below represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
