Conceptualize and develop analyses to advise clients across wide ranging corporate finance and capital markets considerations. Drive financial modeling and detailed pro forma quantitative analysis to estimate impact of potential transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raises. Build detailed financial models to provide valuation and transaction advice encompassing impacts on GAAP financials, regulatory capital, leverage and estimated pro forma share price. Conduct detailed due diligence to understand companies’ operating model and assess company-specific and industry risks. Lead day-to-day execution of transactions by interfacing with clients, coordinating across internal and external workstreams, and conducting bespoke quantitative analyses on various transaction facets in real-time. Conduct industry research to develop differentiated and topical insights on the global insurance sector, including life, property and casualty (P&C) insurance and reinsurance. Assist with ongoing client coverage by developing and presenting discussion materials on range of topics, including macroeconomic backdrop, trading / valuation update and strategic / M&A environment. Attend client meetings and help cultivate client relationships.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the rolewill bebetween $275000and $275000per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requires a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year of experience as an Analyst or a related occupation. Requires one (1) years of experience with: accounting principles including: U.S. GAAP; insurance industry concepts across life and property & casualty (P&C) insurance / reinsurance; financial modeling to evaluate impact of M&A and capital raises; bespoke quantitative analyses to advise clients on potential acquisitions, divestitures, separations and other strategic initiatives; valuation analysis, including: dividend discount, discounted cash flows, public trading comparables, acquisition comparables, and sum-of-the-parts analyses; due diligence and transaction execution in context of M&A transactions; capital raises including: equity, debt and hybrid securities; Microsoft Office product suite, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; SNL Financial; Capital IQ; and Bloomberg.
