Job Description:

Epiq is seeking a full-time Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to support our client's New York office. This position assists the New York Recruiting Manager with recruiting and integration activities for law students, entry-level, and lateral associates.

We seek candidates who will work collaboratively with a team, while also handling individual responsibilities and adapting to rapidly changing priorities. The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with the Attorney Recruiting, New York hiring partners and office managers to source, attract and hiring highly talented and diverse attorneys, both through law school recruitment and in the lateral market, as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with the New York Attorney Recruiting Manager to plan, coordinate and lead summer program efforts, monitor the budget and plan and attend events.
  • Coordinate and oversee administrative aspects involved in on-campus, entry level, and lateral recruiting, including registering for on-campus interview programs and job fairs, scheduling interviews, monitoring candidates throughout the process, preparing and sending offer letters, coordinating follow-up efforts and onboarding process for the New York office.
  • Collaborate with administrative departments on onboarding and integrating new hires, including coordinating new associate integration activities for summer, fall, lateral and patent agent hires.
  • Maintain recruiting records, files, and spreadsheets in NetDocuments and generate LawCruit and Workday reports.
  • Assist with social media and web content for events and information related to the New York office.
  • Partner with the New York Attorney Recruiting Manager to update and develop marketing materials and content for the New York offices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the attorney recruiting process and legal employment issues
  • Ability to set priorities, work independently and handle a variety of duties effectively under time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of firm personnel as well as external clients, including search firms and vendors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical, attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and creative with ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion.
  • Proficient with MS Office and applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday and LawCruit.
  • The hours are 9: 30am to 5: 30pm. Must be flexible regarding overtime as well as in office attendance. 3 days per week onsite is required, but business will dictate when 4 or 5 days will be required.

The Compensation range for this role is 64, 000 to 82, 000 per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
