Citigroup Balance Sheet & Pricing Management Product Manager, SVP in New York, New York

The Balance Sheet & Pricing Management Product Manager, SVP is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • Treasury advisory engagements in the areas of treasury operations, working capital management, risk mitigation, treasury technology, applying knowledge of Finance and Accounting.

  • Generate business through effective client advisory, including the following: engage client senior decision-makers of multinational companies and financial institutions; advise on improving performance of treasury activities; and recommend best practice solutions across treasury related considerations to position complex global treasury management and working capital solutions

  • Advise companies in assessing and addressing treasury challenges of operating in highly regulated emerging markets.

  • Develop and communicate best practice analytical solutions for clients, considering tax and accounting implications of treasury structures, banking solutions, and cash pooling structures.

  • Develop client solutions to address clients’ global treasury and working capital priorities and Citi’s revenue goals

  • Create and deliver thought leadership articles and presentations.

  • Support Citi’s product competitiveness by providing advice to internal product/market management teams, including the following: identify client and competitor positioning trends, requirements gaps, and analyze market feedback for product / market management teams.

  • Define and quantify segment-based positioning, packaging and pricing opportunities to accelerate penetration and revenue growth.

  • Identify new product requirements through defining and validating key functionality needs; quantification of opportunity, positioning, and revenue models.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Define client-level optimization objectives to drive and improved profitability of Liquidity Services products, align sales coverage with the proper incentives, evaluate the potential client responsiveness and ensure that the optimization process or strategy can be effectively implemented .

Creating incentive frameworks within the limits of transfer pricing and finance frameworks, monitor of client performance, and reporting progress to senior management and various stakeholders. The role goes together in supporting optimization work to drive growth objects and implement strategy in focus markets. A key role is to develop the analytics necessary to proactively manage the balance sheet and monitor progress and performance against stated objectives/targets.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience

  • Experience in Product Management beneficial

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Customer service skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
