Touro University Business & Accounting Adjunct Faculty in New York, New York

Overview

This Business & Accounting position is a part of a dynamic team at the New York School for Career & Applied Studies within Touro University. The adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, delivery, grading and assessment. Able to teach in person at 3 Times Square and through virtual synchronous delivery (hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning

  • Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.

  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.

  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Master’s degree required, Ph.D. preferred.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, Touro University emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook

Maximum Salary

USD $2,850.00/Course

Minimum Salary

USD $2,280.00/Course
