About the team

This role is a part of our Horizon Project - Business Analyst Team.

What you bring:

  • 4-10 Years' experience as Business Analyst
  • Must have working experience of BFSI Domain
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery lifecycle (PDLC)
  • IT business analyst with experience in documenting and managing requirements
  • Experience in running requirement sessions to create business and nonfunctional user stories
  • Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, Visio, MS Access, etc.
  • Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise with other resources
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
  • Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies
  • Experience in Agile tools like, Jira, Confluence, etc.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform analyses of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for appropriate FIS segment, division, group or line of business.
  • Research and analyze business operations and present findings to the manager or project leader.
  • Make recommendations (using FIS systems and data) for process improvements to support business systems and activities that deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Determine the estimated costs/benefits of these improvements.
  • Document business processes, metrics, and improvement opportunities.
  • Gain relationship experience with clients and vendors by leading meetings internally and externally.
  • Outside of regular Product Operations activities, you will perform special projects upon request and on occasion.

  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
