Job Position: Business Analyst Lead Engineer Phase 2Pay Rate: $120 to $125 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday; 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMLocation: RemoteJob Description:The Business Analyst Lead Engineer will provide leadership and direction to MyCity Common Services and Service Site business analysts. This role ensures that the work of these analysts and their respective delivery teams aligns with the overall requirements for the MyCity system. Additionally, the Lead Engineer will verify system alignment with these requirements and ensure that the system meets end-user expectations.Scope of Services:Conduct Business and System Analysis and prepare documentation.Provide leadership and direction to business analysts across MyCity delivery teams to ensure alignment with MyCity system requirements.Perform research, analysis, elicitation, and validation of business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Design and execute user acceptance test cases, test suites, and test plans.Contribute to new technology projects as assigned.Prepare high-level design documentation, business requirements documentation, and supplemental functional and non-functional requirements documentation.Document, communicate, and facilitate correction of requirements changes discovered during implementation, and seek sign-offs. Work with teams to ensure appropriate follow-through to resolution.Mandatory Skills:12+ years of experience in business requirements elicitation and creating workflows for major systems.Experience developing and employing functional and non-functional requirements artifacts (Use Cases, Epics, Features, User Stories, Requirements Definition, Process Definitions, User Interface Wireframes, Data Dictionaries, Field Level Mappings for Data Integration to and from COTS and custom applications).Experience providing leadership and direction to business analysts working on multiple teams to deliver large, complex systems.Experience with Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.Strong understanding of the SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer role and the ability to perform it.Desirable Skills/Experience:Experience creating workflows for major systems.Demonstrated experience in analyzing, disseminating, and interpreting policies and procedures.Ability to understand business requirements and document them into a functional specification.Ability to work with architects, developers, engineers, and domain experts to document non-functional requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Experience determining and documenting requirements for APIs.Familiarity with Azure API Management.Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
