The Opportunity

The Chief of Staff and Global Strategy & Business Operations Sr. Manager, DSG will report to VP, Global Digital Strategy Group partnering with the global DSG leadership team, and key ecosystem partners to develop, manage and execute strategic programs to scale DSG's operations globally. This role will assess business needs, identify gaps in strategic operations and "connect the dots" between internal projects while also serving as the point person to drive coordinated execution of key DSG initiatives. Additionally, this role will act as the Chief of Staff and act as a proxy for the VP, Global DSG stepping in to attend meetings and help in progressing decision making. Along with the strategic element, this role will ensure the smooth operations of the DSG organization, including global programs, metrics, systems, and technologies, and develop and drive strategic priorities. This role will need leadership experience in cross-functional and collaborative work environments to ensure success in this dynamic, high-impact position.

What You'll Do

  • Chief of Staff, Act as a Proxy; Anticipate Need for DSG Involvement:
    • Attend and participate in meetings when VP DSG is unavailable
    • Help progress decision making
    • Report back when acting as a proxy, action follow-ups
    • Anticipate areas where DSG could provide value
    • Anticipate the need for information to be collected from other functions
  • Strategic Planning: Reshape DSG strategic business planning process across the entire portfolio in support of our transformation and that of our customers and partners. Lead initiatives and work with global DSG leadership team to inform decisions related to annual planning, investment strategy, prioritization, and other ongoing business priorities, enabling insights and decision-making velocity. Track progress against execution of key strategic goals and keep the leadership team aligned to these.
  • Scale Business Operations Globally: Identify synergies and gaps to drive better scale for DSG business operations globally. Partner with other members of the global DSG leadership team to set and lead priorities, proactively suggest, define, launch, and drive operational initiatives. Lead cross-functional initiatives to solve for these identified opportunities - communicate progress, identify potential roadblocks and align on follow-on actions needed to remain on schedule.
  • Reporting and Insights: Put in a strategy for assessing and articulating DSG performance and impact indicators. Work with the leaders to align on the metrics that matter. Develop DSG performance dashboards, coordinate reporting of metrics and analytics, review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to drive higher DSG impact.
  • Strategy, Design and Running of Meeting Cadences:
    • Drive global DSG leadership team weekly meetings, All-Hands, QBR's, RTBs
    • Lead staff meetings, and strategy sessions; work across teams to drive preparation for and lead quarterly operating review meetings (e.g, QBR, RTBs etc.)
    • Put in place a Comms strategy for DSG - internal and external comms; DSG newsletters, key announcements to the field and sales ecosystem
    • Support with executive communication
  • Budget Planning and Management: Partner with finance on global operating budget planning across the organization.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated success defining and implementing new-state strategies and programs.
  • Consistent track record of delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional projects and leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving senior-level cross-functional operational planning and business reviews that are effective in managing execution to plans.
  • Ability to connect the dots across teams, insights, and initiatives.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create structure and execution plans where there were none while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Senior leadership experience in business strategy, operations, and leading change at scale.
  • Proven strong EQ, positive energy, and organization savviness.
  • Ability to influence senior exec-level decision making.
  • Excellent communicator, networker and relationship builder
  • Experience with and passion for working with other regions, cultures and languages

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $132,900 -- $273,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
