Position Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator. We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our research team in the . The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating large-scale research studies funded by the NIH, which aim to improve our understanding of voice and swallowing disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

    1. Patient Recruitment and Scheduling:
      1. Actively engage, screen and recruit patients for the study, ensuring that all participants meet the study's specific inclusion criteria. Schedule patients for their initial evaluations and follow-up visits, order relevant labs and tests and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.
      2. Work with licensed clinicians to develop tracking forms for all active trials, maintain tracking forms throughout the life cycle of the protocol
      3. Provide updates to study team members regarding changes to workflow or patient-related specific needs according to protocol modifications
      4. Schedule participants according to the approved protocol; coordinate with ancillary service providers to ensure patients remain adherent to the protocol
    2. Data Collection and Storage:
      1. Assist in collecting data during patient visits, including patient-reported measures, clinician auditory-perceptual measures, and relative fundamental frequency. Ensure all data is accurately recorded and stored in a secure and organized manner.
      2. Help to reconcile any clinical discrepancies in data with RDAs and RCs; assist with research monitoring and sponsor audits
    3. Communication and Coordination:
      1. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns about the study. Facilitate effective communication between the data analyst, principal investigators, data safety and monitoring committee and the clinical team to ensure everyone is updated on the study's progress.
    4. Compliance:
      1. Ensure that the study is conducted in compliance with the approved protocol, submit regulatory paperwork, including obtaining informed consent from all participants and maintaining patient confidentiality.
      2. Under the supervision of investigator, may take part in AE and RNI documentation and reporting activities such as SAE and annual reports

5. Data Analysis and Support:

a. Assist the biostatistician in preparing data for analysis including handling missing values, conducting preliminary descriptive analyses and preparing visual models and graphs to illustrate research results and findings for presentation.

Minimum Qualifications:


To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
2 years relevant experience required,
Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work under the direction of supervision
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $79,500.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
