Conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analytics, Chobani’s Marketing Insights team produces category, consumer and shopper insights to help inform marketing, product, and business decision making. As a key member of the Marketing Insights Team, the Consumer Insights Analyst makes use of company and syndicated data, integrated with primary consumer research, to help inform the design, development, and measurement of Chobani marketing strategies and initiatives

Responsibilities

Make use of syndicated data (from sources like Nielsen and IRI), account-specific data, as well as consumer and shopper insights to provide regular summaries to internal teams on category, competitor, and Chobani performance.  Analyze and summarize 3rd party reports to help create product-, category-, and industry-level insights and executive briefings.  Contribute to the development of marketing measurement plans; support analysis and reporting of Chobani marketing initiative effectiveness.  Partner on insight discovery via expert networks (Mintel, Nielsen, etc) as well as from industry professionals to tell a 360-degree story about categories Chobani is considering entering.  Make use of tools / templates to facilitate analysis & reporting: provide ongoing trend reporting / analysis. Collect and clean data, interpret and evaluate statistical outputs, develop recommendations based on findings, and prepare reports/summaries for non-quantitative audiences. Analyze multiple data sources to generate pertinent and accurate summaries of key performance indicators versus objectives. Conduct ad hoc analyses and data pulls to answer time-sensitive questions. Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Product Marketing, Innovation (New Platform Development), Consumer Marketing, New Product development / R&D, and Commercial/Sales.  

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years experience in marketing analysis (or previous experience as a category analyst) with specific knowledge of IRI and/or Nielsen. Consumer panel data experience preferred (Homescan, Oracle etc.). Experience in consumer packaged goods industry preferred. Proficient in multiple statistical methods, including linear regression, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, survey methods, etc. Hands-on experience with statistical programs such as R, Python, SPSS, or STATA. Progressive thinker capable of extending or enhancing the existing set of analytical offerings. Proven analytical skills and ability to successfully integrate multiple, disparate streams of information into sound conclusions, recommendations and reports.  Capable of building strong networks and working relationships by effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment both independently and as a team player. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against aggressive deadlines.  Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including but not limited to Excel, Word and Power Point).
