Audacy Copy & Traffic Coordinator, Podcast Operations in New York, New York

Overview

Audacy is seeking a Copy & Traffic Coordinator to manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of our podcast advertising programs. This is a great opportunity for an energetic self-starter looking to gain experience in the digital advertising space with a premium publisher. You will work across multiple departments to implement and fulfill podcast advertising initiatives, making contributions to Audacy’s creative strategy and owning the realization of revenue as driven by the sales team.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Verify all initial information that hosts will require to efficiently record a host-read advertisement.

  • Coordinate with Sales & Production to deliver ad copy and ensure ads are recorded in a timely manner.

  • Traffic advertiser campaigns across all of our podcast programming.

  • Produce podcast advertiser schedules for the assigned show lineup.

  • Work with traffic to ensure all core elements are included in the finalized version of the read.

  • Discuss any feedback from sales to see if elements can be adjusted in post-production or other editing mechanisms as needed.

  • Represent talent/production on sales-facing onboarding calls, collecting key campaign messaging to work into scripts.

  • Multi-task to complete demanding daily deadlines.

Qualifications

Required and Preferred:

  • Traffic or Advertising related work experience in Media or Broadcast Operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Strong ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and solve problems.

  • Tolerance for stress and tight deadlines, including the ability to work under pressure.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • 1 year experience in advertising operations, sales operations, or copywriting/editing preferred.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000/yr - $70,000/yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
