Identify the data needed for a business problem and implement logging required to ensure availability of data, while working with data infrastructure to triage issues and resolve. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way. Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations for allocated areas of ownership. Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production, leveraging common development toolkits. Independently design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production, mentoring others around efficient queries. Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance. Define and manage SLA for data sets in allocated areas of ownership.Requirements:Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience requires two years of experience in the following:1. Data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, implementation, and maintenance on a large scale;2. Developing and managing data warehousing architecture and plans;3. Schema design and dimensional data modeling;4. Managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients;5. Processing and analyzing streaming data;6. Parsing and mining TBs of unstructured data;7. Developing data workflows to integrate with in-house or Third Party API services;8. Programing in Python;9. Writing SQL statements;10. Analyzing large volumes of data to provide data driven insights, gaps, and inconsistencies;11. Dashboard visualization with Tableau or PowerBI;12. MapReduce or MPP systems;13. Determining and implementing the security model based on privacy requirements, confirming safeguards are followed, addressing data quality issues, and evolving governance processes within allocated areas of ownership; and14. Experience in CyberSecurity threat analysis needs, User and Entity Behavior Analysis (UEBA), telemetry alerts, and metadata tracking.
