Oversee the execution of every product designed for each seasonal collection. Oversee and ensure adherence to T & A (Time & Action) calendars. Manage development ratios and formulate sourcing strategies. Communicate with internal and external partners. Ensure product integrity, achievement of financial goals and meeting of delivery timelines. Plan and coordinate logistics, including shipping, transportation and distribution of products to meet production timelines and budget. Track and monitor domestic and overseas development of the collection. Ensure that all factories have access to every component needed to create each product, including trims, fabrics, labels, etc. Responsible for duplicating all products for every foreign market, including tracking and shipping products to each showroom for markets in Europe and Asia. Convey all information, including material to be used to create seasonal collection to production managers to ensure that the designs can be properly executed. Manage fittings and print development. Responsible for managing overseas raw material development to meet price, aesthetic, and quality needs. Communicate with external partners regarding seasonal allocation strategy, production, product/cost challenges, initiatives or issues, factory loading and capacity planning. Will supervise a Product Development Manager, Product Development Assistant, Technical Designer, Associate Technical Designer and Logistics and Distribution Manager in executing duties.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess at minimum a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion or related plus one year of experience as Design Manager or similar overseeing and ensuring adherence to T & A (Time & Action) calendars.
