GENERAL FUNCTION

Drives the strategic development, delivery and evaluation of Workforce Management methodologies necessary to maintain approved performance and productivity standards including assignment of staff as needed throughout the workday. Workforce Management activities are performed to maximize efficiency while delivering amazing customer experiences. Provides thought leadership and partnership to field leaders to optimize workforce productivity, ensuring resources are aligned to meet business needs. Partners with key executives to drive performance and support business objectives.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides strategic, innovative leadership in the design, implementation and continuous improvement across all areas of workforce planning.
  • Ensures labor targets and standards are in alignment with brand strategic initiatives and drive both top-line and bottom-line growth. Prepares short- and long-term plans in support of the brand mission and vision.
  • Prepare daily and hourly budgets by store department in coordination with Finance, Operations, and Field teams.
  • Independently assess the effectiveness of established labor standards. Develop necessary adjustments to labor standards to account for changes in the customer journey, program administration, and store models.
  • Identify performance outliers and conduct root cause analytics on labor performance, recommending action plans to field leaders connecting labor performance to financial and operational KPI's.
  • Partner with HR to develop long-term hiring guidance, ensuring requisitions are supported by consistent business needs and address key coverage gaps in the existing roster.
  • Oversee all aspects of UKG (Kronos Workforce Central / UKG Pro) administration. Ensure labor plans and automated scheduling are completed in a timely manner. Ensure system configuration meets the needs of the business and is maintained with regular data.
  • Serve as functional company lead for the assessment of any new Workforce Management tools/suites and lead all migration and implementation efforts, ensuring consistency across EssilorLuxottica banners.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting and cross-platform integrations.
  • Prepare accurate and meaningful leadership summaries for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews highlighting key strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Effectively coordinate with cross-functional business partners in Operations, Field, EyeCare, Finance, Payroll, and Accounting organizations, advocating for the strategic best interests of LensCrafters long-term strategic priorities.
  • Lead and develop a team of high performing individual contributors, leveraging a diversity of background and experience to creatively solve practical business challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10-15 years' experience in Labor, Workforce Planning, or Workforce Management within Corporate Operations or Corporate Finance
  • Experience with workforce management solutions inclusive of scheduling, payroll and timekeeping
  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Forms, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration or related discipline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration
  • Experience in UKG (Kronos) WFM software
  • Experience in Retail Service Industry
  • Ability to write SQL, VBA

Pay Range: 172,116.40-252,092.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
