Job Summary
We’re looking for talented individuals to join Restaurant Associates at JPMorgan Chase's new global HQ at 270 Park! Featuring vibrant food halls, bustling cafes, curated retail experiences, and world-class catering, this high-profile location will stand tall among NY's finest. The Director of Operations is an experienced, strategic leader with proven multi-unit management experience. You'll be responsible for the successful operation of the food hall, featuring 19 branded concepts across 2 floors of outstanding food and retail services.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership of operations in corporate food service setting
Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures
Support the development and implementation of service programs that meet client and regulatory standards
Monitor financial reports of the accounts to ensure budgetary compliance
Develop and motivate an effective management and service staff
Audit and improve unit operations to ensure contract compliance and service excellence.
Interface with clients to maintain client satisfaction and account retention
Resolve client, guest, and associate related complaints
Conduct appropriate annual and semi-annual performance evaluations
Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy
Project a high level of customer service at all
Train, motivate, and develop management personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent related experience
Proven ability to manage a team
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-unit foodservice management
Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction
Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment
Proven ability to mentor and develop team members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
