Amazon Enablement Program Manager, Generative AI in New York, New York
Description
The GenAI Enablement Program Manager will own worldwide enablement programs and time-bound initiatives that help AWS sales and technical teams create and progress generative AI sales opportunities with their customers. The mission of the Sales Acceleration Team in the AWS GenAI GTM organization is to create and leverage mechanisms that increase the velocity of generative AI sales, from top-of-funnel lead-generation to launching and scaling customers’ generative AI productions. The team is part of a larger organization in AWS that is comprised of business development, solutions architecture, and program management professionals who execute on the company’s go-to-market generative AI strategy for all of AWS.
Expectations for this role include proposing and managing worldwide initiatives in sales enablement that help in all stages of the sales cycle. This includes proof-of-concept (POC) funding, event/executive engagements, and sales-content management. The role will own both recurring live enablement calls, as well as certification courses hosted in an LMS. The role will also help integrate targeted enablement into our CRM and content management platforms.
We expect the person in this role to work with AWS employees from many departments and geographies/time zones, requiring them to communicate clearly and effectively. They will be responsible for Amazon business narratives/writing, weekly updates, and leveraging data available through Amazon QuickSight and Excel, to report the status of their enablement projects and enablement insights for leaders.
The role will interface with AWS sales, technical, finance, enablement, and business development leaders, giving this role exciting visibility and scope to Think Big and Invent & Simplify for internal and external customers. Given generative AI is a new and evolving domain, this role will deal with ambiguity, regular stakeholder alignment and feedback, process changes, and prioritization.
Key job responsibilities
We expect the Enablement Program Manager to:
Coordinate a live worldwide GenAI internal enablement series
Coordinate a formal internal service and sales play certification course in collaboration with other enablement teams
Drive enablement content curation and update workstreams
Maintain productive weekly/bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders, partner teams, and cross-functional teams
Write Amazon internal business documents effectively and clearly, using anecdotes and data to share insights
Dive into and manipulate available data in Excel, QuickSight, etc., to unlock insights and health of initiatives
Drive stakeholders and partners teams to complete tasks and objectives required for initiatives’ success
Use project-reporting tools to indicate status of deliverables on a regular basis
Possess executive presence in discussing initiatives and advising, persuading leaders on decisions

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
