Citigroup Finance Program Governance and Execution Lead (C16/MD) in New York, New York

The Finance Transformation Program Governance and Execution Lead is a critical member of Citi's global Finance Transformation organization responsible for governance and delivery across Finance’s transformation efforts covering 30+ major programs of work. This role reports to the Global Head of Finance transformation and will partner closely with the Finance functions to proactively help set the strategy and drive the delivery of the action plan work efforts.

This role will require regular presentation and communication with C-Suite level executives and requires the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and pro-actively seek out solutions to potential issues and challenges through relationship building, timely and transparent communication and acute problem-solving skills.

Finance Transformation is a results-driven organization of leaders and consists of both centralized program governance and reporting responsibilities and PMOs who support the adoption of other program group initiatives across Finance (i.e. Data EUC Reductions).

This is a high-profile role supporting Citi Finance’s transformation with a global scope. Ideal candidates

should have an in-depth knowledge of financial services, experience delivering large programs of work and proven leadership savvy. The role holder will be expected to provide both strategic and operational thought leadership with the ability to lead and influence a wide number of stakeholders at senior levels.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with Head of Finance Transformation to set strategic direction for program group and resolve issues escalated by execution leads and commitment owners

· Coordinate across Initiatives and Programs to drive deliverables and strategic outcome

· Set guidance and provides direction on reporting requirements for program and project teams

· Provides an aggregated view of execution status, risks and issues across the Sub-portfolio to PG leadership and Gap Owners based on data entered by Execution PMOs

· Establishes the hierarchy of Initiatives, Programs and Projects and ensures Deliverables are aligned

· Oversees planning, reporting and escalation activities to drive consistency, quality and adherence to TO and CPMC standards across Execution PMO teams

· Actively promote and solicit support for better management of cross functional dependencies

· Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and dependencies, validate pain points, and determine innovative solutions

· Analyze reports to identify trends, patterns, and issues related to the management of cross functional dependencies, and present findings and recommendations to the Head of Finance Transformation

· Partner with Internal Audit, second line challengers, and first line reviewers throughout validation and closure process

Qualifications:

· 15+ years of experience leading transformation programs and organizational change, +10 years of managerial experience preferred. Experience within the Financial Services or another regulated industry is preferred.

· Management Consulting experience delivery large programs of work

· Content expertise in Finance functions including one of the following: Capital, Liquidity, CCAR, Books and Records, and/or Regulatory Reporting

· Ability to lead and manage a diverse, cross-discipline team with 5-6 direct reports. Proven experience in coaching and developing direct reports and team members, and in providing oversight to a portfolio of projects.

· Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

· Excellent organizational and project management skills

· Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations

· A leader who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute

· A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work

· Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives

· Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude

· Bachelor’s/ University degree; Master’s degree preferred
