JPMorgan Chase Global Sales and Marketing - Rates - Analyst in New York, New York

This role is designed for an entry-level candidate with interest in Fixed Income. The role would be based in New York City and ultimately a part of the Global Rates Sales department.

As a Global Sales and Marketing - Rates - Analyst in the Global Rates Sales department, you will play a highly impactful role focusing on North American Banks, Insurance Companies, Government Sponsored Entities, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and Pensions. You will be dealing with specific products such as U.S. Treasuries, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Financing Products. This role provides an opportunity to partner with Trading to execute client trades and with Research to provide trade ideas as well as on general market and industry developments impacting Financial Institutions.

Job summary

  • This is a highly impactful Rates Sales role focusing on North American Banks, Insurance Companies, Government Sponsored Entities, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and Pensions.

  • Specific products include U.S. Treasuries, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Financing Products.

Job responsibilities

  • Writing and discussing of market trends, themes and color with clients on a daily basis

  • Partner with Trading to execute client trades

  • Help regularly with trade booking and recaps

  • Partner with Research to provide trade ideas as well as on general market and industry developments impacting Financial Institutions

  • Have a strong understanding of Controls and Compliance rules, and candidates must operate with a high level of integrity

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • College degree required

  • Series 7 and 63
