A fantastic opportunity for a licensed architect with experience in healthcare projects!Job Description

As a Healthcare Project Architect, you will manage various aspects of client and team coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, and other consultants. You will resolve complex technical and design issues, produce innovative solutions, and direct the production of drawings and specifications. You are also responsible for document oversight, delivering top-notch technical quality, processing submittals, and interfacing with building and permitting officials during construction phases.

Hard Skills

• Experience in construction document preparation and field observation

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling software

• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Client relationship management

• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects

Work Environment

The New York City office operates on a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to choose which 3 days to work in-office and 2 days remotely. The team comprises about 26 people and maintains partnerships with notable firms like Gensler, Cannon, and AECOM, with varying roles in projects. The office is part of a larger organization with around 350 people across 12 locations. Work-life balance is emphasized, with a standard 40-hour work week and a supportive atmosphere for personal scheduling needs.
