Our client, a global entertainment provider, seeks a dynamic and versatile HR Director to join their team in their NYC office. The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of generalist HR management experience within a multi-site organization, as well as past roles working solo in an HR department. In addition, in-depth employee relations experience, past roles in a union environment, and a solid foundation in employment law are also characteristics that will allow a candidate to excel in this position. • Bachelor's degree, required. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
• Experience in a standalone HR department, strongly preferred.
• Past roles working within a union environment and an understanding of labor and employment law compliance.
• Competence in benefits, organizational design & development, compensation, and talent management.

The salary range for this role is $140k-$165k.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
