ConEdison Interconnections Planning Engineer - Transmission Planning in New York, New York

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3 years work experience in the planning, design and/or operation of the bulk electrical transmission system.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering and 3 years work experience in the planning, design and/or operation of the bulk electrical transmission system.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Knowledge of the design and /or operation of the electric power system. Required

  • Competent in using PSS/E, TARA, Aspen or equivalent power system simulation programs. Required

Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Licenses And Certfications

  • Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
