Kelly Services Business Development Associate - Health Benefits in New York, New York

Are you looking to launch a long career in the thriving Health Benefits Administration field?

Kelly has an amazing opportunity for a driven Jr. Business Development Associate to join a leading 3rd party Health Benefits Administrator based out of their Manhattan, NY location. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a salary range of $55-68K per year based on experience, an excellent benefits package, and a hybrid schedule . In this role you will assist with the ongoing management and care of a vibrant customer base primarily processing proposal requests. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience that brings with it excellent upward mobility within the company!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and proposals by identifying missing data, editing, and formatting reports, and ensuring data is organized and saved appropriately

• Create stop-loss market RFPs for client renewal or new prospective customers

• Prepare spreadsheets of marketing results and provide recommendations to Sales team

• Ready proposal presentations for broker/client with cost/benefit analysis

• Move sold accounts to operations, implementation, and the account management team

• Partner with stop-loss, brokers, and account management

• Prepare final financial models and billing forms for sold accounts

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related educational field preferred

• Experience in medical insurance client / account management highly preferred

• Working knowledge of benefit administration, insurance, self-funding, and stop-loss reinsurance is a huge plus

• Proficiency in standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and absorb feedback to improve and grow

• Willingness to work overtime when required is critical
