Your New Role...
The TNT Sports Live Events team is responsible for developing and executing consumer-facing, live events across the company’s rights portfolio that engage attendees, enhance broadcasts, and generate opportunities for partner participation. The group works closely with the Sports Ad Sales and Broadcasts teams across these events to create memorable experiences for those attending in-person and viewing from home or on a device.
The team’s event work includes:
Nine NCAA Fan Events/Fan Festivals NCAA Championships within the NCAA Corporate Champion and Partner program
NBA on TNT events, including the Road Show franchise and NBA All-Star fan events
NHL on TNT Winter Classic pregame activation and concert
The Match golf franchise
Other tentpole events within growing rights portfolio
In addition to the internal work, the group has produced events for outside clients including Capital One, Major League Soccer, and Big Ten Network.
TNT Sports Live Events is responsible for all aspects of the live events, including concepting and ideation, budgeting, production and operations, activation execution, and fulfilling on-air look-ins and integrations. The group also works closely with sponsors and activation agencies to ensure seamless partner integration into the events.
This position’s primary responsibility will include serving as the Event Manager for the NCAA Men’s Final Four Fan Fest, the premier destination for fans of all ages to experience the excitement of Men’s Final Four with 400,000 sq feet of basketball courts, sponsored activities and autograph signings, team merchandise, concessions, pep rallies and giveaways throughout the weekend. The event manager will lead the event team on a day-to-day basis and will work closely with the production and sponsorship teams on all aspects of the event. This role will also provide critical support across other events including the NBA on TNT Road Shows, NCAA Championship fan festivals, and other TNT Sports managed events.
Your Role Accountabilities...
The Manager, Event Management and Production will join an experienced event execution team and will be responsible for both leading events and being a supporting member of the team.
As the Event Manager of the NCAA Men’s Final Four Fan Fest, this position is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the event. They will lead show production, operations, and budget management. These primary responsibilities include oversight of operations, audio/visual, décor, ticketing and security vendors, and working closely with the other members of the event team on all sponsor management, graphics, turnkey activations, and marketing of the event. They will be responsible for keeping event status reports, production schedules, timelines, and other event documents. They will develop the event budget in conjunction with the Senior Director of Event Management & Production and will lead the management and reconciliation of event finances.
This position requires the individual to be a leader, managing multiple external and internal stakeholders while having a team-player mindset. Excellent communication skills are a must, and presenting at meetings, building decks, and leading calls is crucial to the success of the position. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and organized, be able to multitask, be resourceful, self-directed, motivated, and have the confidence to ask questions when needed.
As the e vent manager of NCAA Championships Women’s College World Serie s , this person will w ork closely with the venue, NCAA and vendors on layout, security and event logistics and additionally will work with the sponsors and their agencies on their activation footprints . They will be responsible for budget development, tracking and reconciliation in addition to the upkeep of event status report s , timeline s , overview s, and other various event documents.
As a team member supporting the NHL on TNT NHL Winter Classic event, NBA on TNT Road Show, NCAA Championships and other events and projects, this person will be an integral to growing those events. They will participate in brainstorming sessions to develop events, activations and programming elements, will research, identify, and manage vendors and fabricators for event builds, and will be responsible for on-site execution.
Qualifications & Experiences...
3 – 4 years of event management and activation experience
2 - 3 years of client management and/or brand management experience
Experience ideating and pitching event activation concepts
Previous extensive work travel
Proven experience executing large-scale events and activations, including vendor management and budget oversight
Work with both in-office and remote teammates
Extensive work directly with sponsors, venues, contractors and vendors
Proficiency in other software such as Keynote, Adobe, and Slack
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience building presentations and presenting in a group setting
Ability to multi-task and be highly productive in a fast-paced environment
Excels in a dynamic team, and can communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders
Understanding of event production and operations, including scheduling and multi-faceted nature of large-scale events
Proven experience forecasting, managing and reconciling program budgets
Strong work ethic and an ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to a variety of event environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20-30% of the year, including weekend and holidays

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,034.00 - $130,062.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
