Manager, Talent Acquisition

About this Opportunity....

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is a NY based recruiting position that supports our buying, planning and support functions in NY, LA and Boston. This position is in the heart of the NY Garment district in Manhattan. This role will be working directly with the business to source and place top industry talent into our buying, planning and support functions and oversee our end-to-end recruiting process for external candidates.

The base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

What you'll do...

  • Manage search strategy for assigned positions. This will include building target lists, sourcing and screening talent as well as ensuring a smooth interview process with business partners.
  • Be the expert in NY and LA based talent - know your market and how to find, attract and close candidates independently.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with all candidates throughout the search process, providing a high-touch, candidate centric experience.
  • Facilitate final steps in the hiring process, from development of compensation packages through new hire onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and business stakeholders, communicating frequently on open searches and influencing the direction of searches. Partner to review upcoming talent needs and develop recommendations to fill roles proactively with top talent to help support business strategies.
  • Consult regularly with HR Business Partner to be ahead of changes in select business areas that will impact recruitment strategies and adapt accordingly.
  • Develop innovative candidate sourcing strategies based on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and experience to identify and attract top talent and pipeline development for key positions.

What you need to be successful....

  • You love recruiting and matching people to their perfect role. You can find talent and identify the perfect position for them.
  • You have a few years of experience working in Talent Acquisition in a corporate environment and have end to end recruitment experience.
  • Communication skills: You actively listen and demonstrate the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Flexibility: You can pivot and are adaptable
