JPMorgan Chase Managing Director, Head of Strategy for Human Resources & Employee Experience in New York, New York

The Head of Strategy for Human Resources (HR) and Employee Experience (EX) will be a member of the Global Human Resources Operating Committee (HROC) and will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. This person will work directly with executives to lead enterprise level teams to resolve complex HR and EX challenges critical to the human capital discipline. This role will partner with HR, EX and executive leadership to execute organizational effectiveness, talent management and employee engagement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and shape the future of the company.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior HR and EX leadership to define the overall strategic direction and help create and drive strategies that leverage modern practices. They will drive the development of the HR and EX operating model and demonstrate strong understanding of change management to deliver a collection of transformational people-related global initiatives. They will have a keen interest in utilizing analytics and data science to improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.

Role Objectives & Responsibilities

Transformation Architect - work with senior leaders to create the workforce of the future by understanding the business deeply and leveraging our HR and EX products to drive business outcomes. Support the design and implementation of these digital HR and EX products with the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

People Strategist - establish a vision and strategy for Human Resources' Planning, Employee Experience, Organizational Design and Change Management.

Employee Experience - own the strategy and execution behind the design and creation of tools and roadmaps of the future for employees to do their best work through frictionless digital experiences.

Spark Impactful Innovation - exhibit an action-oriented, employee-based and creative solution set across large scale projects while interacting with people across all levels of the organization.

Conquer Change Management - act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior stakeholders on how to drive transformation and redesign work, automation, and digital strategies.

Exceptional Stakeholder and People Manager - strong executive composure, relationship management and communication skills with the ability to work with executives across the organization. Lead and develop a high-functioning team across HR and EX strategy.

Data-Driven - leverage and synthesize data to drive outcomes to drive operating model and organizational evolution.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 15+ years of transformational people leadership experience and preferably 5+ years in a leading strategy management consulting firm.

• Knowledge of full range of people practices and how to apply them to an organization that is shifting to a technology and customer focused operating model: goal setting, performance assessment and improvement, compensation practices, talent review and talent management, workforce planning, reductions in force, manager development.

• Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills regularly to identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause.

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and technical skills that enable individual to leverage data to create employee centric strategies that support and launch business results.

• Ability to operate at scale and navigate a globally-matrixed organization.

NY $300,000.00 - $500,000.00 / year
