Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at DISH Media will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, designing, developing, and managing business intelligence tools and dashboards to optimize performance on advertising platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate data-driven stories effectively to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, Design, Develop, and Manage Business Intelligence tools (dashboards)
Develop and execute SQL Queries against a variety of data sources, types, and structures to conduct analyses and draw insights
Surface insights and tell stories with data that can be tuned to and understood by a variety of audiences at various skill/knowledge levels
Maintain, Design, Develop, and Manage analytics processes that optimize performance on advertising platforms
Translate business needs into technical requirements; create tools to process and store data
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and develop and update technical documentation
Lead and mentor less experienced analysts, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
5 or more years of experience as a BI/Dashboard Developer, Data Scientist, or a similar role
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in SQL query development
Familiarity with BI technologies such as AWS, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and Oracle BI
Experience with data warehousing, data mining, and ETL processes
Knowledge of at least one Data Science language (e.g., Python, R, SAS)
Familiarity with Project Management systems (e.g., Jira)
Advertising/Publisher/MVPD Industry experience is preferred
Ability to take initiative, be innovative, and work independently; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead a team and mentor less experienced analysts, fostering a culture of growth and development
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,687.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
