Progyny is looking for a People Analytics and HRIS Analyst to join our People team. This individual is highly skilled and experienced with the Workday HRIS, specifically the core HR, Recruiting Payroll and Benefits modules. In partnership with the CHRO and the VP, People and DEI this individual will work on employee analytics projects that will enable the business to make data driven decisions. This role requires a technical and detail-oriented individual who will work closely with IT throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Configure, maintain and, optimize the Workday HRIS to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for senior leadership and HR teams.
  • Translate business requirements into system updates and enhancements in the Workday HRIS
  • Collaborate with HR teams to identify data needs, support HR projects, implement new workflows, troubleshoot system issues and improve processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of HRIS modules and upgrades, including testing and training staff.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Provide analytical support to talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.
  • Stay updated on HR technology trends and recommend improvements or new tools to enhance analytics capabilities.

About you...

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Workday, preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing projects
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, nested formulas, and understanding of logic functions).
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $100,000 - $115,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
