Role description:

Arcadis seeks an experienced Program Management Information System (PMIS) Administrator to join our team for a significant tunnel project in the New York / New Jersey area. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in managing project scheduling and PMIS administration for a high-profile tunnel project. Join our team and contribute to delivering excellence in project management and execution. This role is pivotal in managing the Project Management Information System (PMIS), specifically Oracle Primavera P6, and integrating additional software solutions e.g. eBuilder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls, scheduling, and system administration, with expertise in maintaining resource and cost loading within P6.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Administer and maintain Oracle Primavera P6 as the primary project scheduling tool.
  • Configure and customize P6 to meet project requirements, including coding structures, user permissions, and reporting functionalities.
  • Integrate and manage new software solutions such as eBuilder or similar PMIS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and data integrity.
  • Support project teams in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates within P6.
  • Provide training and technical support to project team members on P6 and other PMIS software.
  • Monitor and enforce project scheduling standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to analyze scheduling requirements and optimize project performance.
  • Generate and distribute project progress reports, variance analysis reports, and other scheduling-related documents.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks on scheduling data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in scheduling and PMIS technology to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a PMIS Administrator with a strong focus on Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience in system administration, configuration, and customization of P6.
  • Familiarity with integrating and administering new PMIS software platforms such as eBuilder or similar systems.
  • Strong background in project controls, scheduling, resource management, and cost loading.
  • Proficiency in coding structures, user access management, and generating complex reports in P6.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, can clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Oracle Primavera P6 or related project management software.
  • Experience in managing PMIS for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably tunneling or similar civil engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL queries for PMIS systems.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $138, 000 - $238, 000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
