Prime Financial Services (PFS) as an Account Manager in New York

Job Summary:

As an Account Manager Associate for the Prime Financial Services Group, you will ensure a superior platform experience and product delivery in the integrated Prime Finance and Derivatives Clearing business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic relationships with key decision makers at the client and strengthen existing client relationships through daily interactions, meetings and events

  • Actively engage clients with respect to new products, new technology, and new regulatory topics within the Prime Finance Services (PFS) platform, across Equities and Derivatives

  • Capitalize on client relationships to influentially direct business and revenue increasing opportunities

  • Utilize quantitative analysis for client metrics, balance trends, and portfolio construct to optimize their balance mix, return metrics, and revenue

  • Deliver other products of the firm to the client by holistically analyzing client business

  • Assist clients with navigating through the evolving regulatory landscapes, market volatility and industry changes

  • Take charge of client experience inclusive of product, technology, and operations across cash equity, fixed income, synthetic Prime Finance and cleared derivatives

  • Lead and implement initiatives that are focused on improving client experience and PFS products

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in prime brokerage, derivatives clearing, or related roles

  • Energetic self-starter, motivated to enhance and build on our current product offering

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to manage and build strong relationships with clients

  • Oral presentation, persuasive speaking, analytical and negotiation skills are a must

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience with hedge fund clients is strongly preferred

  • Products knowledge of Prime Finance and/or Cleared Derivatives is a plus

  • Series 3, 7, and 63 preferred or willing to attain within 6 months of joining
