Learn more about benefits at Meta at this link: https://www.metacareers.com/facebook-life/benefits.Duties:Design digital user interfaces, create graphics, and design new experiences or layouts that evolve and/or define visual systems for web and app-based applications and technologies with a focus on generating new visual language. Take broad, conceptual ideas and create design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for supported platforms. Drive partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch. Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Meta products. Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality, while also taking on mentorship. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Clearly and succinctly articulate goals and concepts when representing work to broader product team and other leaders.Requirements:Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related computer occupation. Requires 60 months of experience involving the following:1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms;2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs;3. Prototyping;4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography;5. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users;6. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts;7. Defining product specifications and user experiences;8. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing;9. Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes;10. Building and shipping applications or software at company-level scale;11. Leading end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes;12. Developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company; and13. Partnering with cross-functional partners to drive product strategy with a user-centric approach leveraging design thinking methodologies and best practices.

Minimum Salary: 203,276 Maximum Salary: 223,850 Salary Unit: Yearly
