Citigroup Product Developer in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Product Developer for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Review and translate the long-term vision of the wholesale credit risk credit review process and underwriting lifecycle into product solutions and strategies. Drive product strategy creation by conducting research and analysis related to discovery of the current state, design of target state, and review regulatory findings. Identify trends across systems and various reports to simplify user experience complexities, and support efforts to standardize procedures related to underwriting lifecycle. Leverage journey-based design strategies to drive an overall product design process and validate prototypes into production, including visual design and content strategy. Create new processes and use existing tools such as JIRA and Figma to ensure appropriate implementation of framework and rules for product execution projects. Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and implement requirements for enhancing the credit risk platform. Prepare materials that summarize the product strategic direction, consolidate input from senior product managers, and participate in meetings with senior stakeholders to review and refine direction. Work in close partnership with various functions such as Underwriting, Risk, and Technology to provide guidance, structure, and analysis for lending and credit approval management. Analyze existing and new regulations and Citi policy, and evaluate the ensuing impact to lending activities. Build front-end credit analysis tools that allow for comprehensive underwriting due diligence. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, Behavioral Economics, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Management Analyst, Lead Associate, or related position involving data analysis and product strategy formulation within the financial services domain. 3 years of experience must include: Product strategy creation and execution including designing processes and validating prototypes; Microsoft Suite Tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Data tabulation, trend analysis, and data visualization using Tableau; Developing custom systemic solutions for data and strategy optimization; and Data analysis, data aggregation, data visualization, and data reporting. Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: Project tracking, product design, and product development using Jira; Product design and product visualization using Figma; and Implementing and developing tools and controls to address data issues and data flows, including data quality reporting controls, early warning alerts, Excel add-ins, and dashboard enhancements.
