Citigroup Product Manager - American Airlines Co-Brand Cards - VP in New York, New York

The Partner Management Ld Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a key liaison with the Partner and will be responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the portfolio in all channels, ensuring that marketing and financial/business plans are delivered and strengthening the client relationship.

  • Identify and implement strategic initiatives to drive profitable sales growth

  • Develop and execute strategic/tactical initiatives to improve business performance.

  • Create innovative and appealing product concepts and communications.

  • Analyze program results to improve performance and profitability.

  • Develop and maintain marketing strategies with partner and internal resources.

  • Create and manage task plans to accomplish business plan objectives.

  • Financial planning and forecasting - ensure plan is achieved and recognize, anticipate and create solutions to address financial shortfalls.

  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships:

  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships within the client's retail and financial services organizational structures.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison between the client and Citi internal operational, digital and functional areas.

  • Consistently deliver quality customer and client experiences.

  • Build organizational consensus in support of the client.

  • Maintain contract compliance including reporting requirements and service level agreements.

  • Manage monthly client reporting.

  • Actively contribute to and participate in client portfolio reviews.

  • Assist in the creation and management of project plans for retail initiatives, including incentives, contests and application building strategies.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Finance. Must have experience in marketing, product or project management and client/relationship management experience.

  • MBA desirable. Private label credit or bankcard industry experience preferred.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • High-energy, self-motivated individual with the ability to drive results with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountability.

  • Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration at all levels of the organization.

  • Forward thinker with the flexibility to adapt to and drive change in a dynamic business environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
