Bloomberg Product Manager, US Treasury E-Trading in New York, New York

Bloomberg Electronic Trading Systems (ETS) offers premier multi-asset trading venues and services, including workflows for US Market participants trading Fixed Income instruments. As the US Treasury (‘UST’) E-Trading Product Manager, you will help drive the overall strategy and growth of the US Fixed Income trading business. You will develop solutions for the local market and the global investor community by collaborating with key external market participants - including buyside institutions, liquidity providers and regulatory bodies - and managing internal stakeholders to deliver market leading trading solutions.

What is the role?

The UST E-Trading Product Manager will be responsible for increasing our footprint in the UST E-Trading market. In doing so, they will increase E-Trading D2C market-share. They will work hand-in-hand with Bloomberg Engineer to deliver market leading workflows and execution tools and with regional sales teams to build liquidity for the E-Trading offering while encouraging buyside participation.

-Utilize your deep knowledge of the UST market to identify client needs and build solutions and trading protocols that provide a competitive edge.

-Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and collaborate on developing scalable solutions.

-Ensure we have incremental deliveries and a phased product roadmap with clearly outlined business outcomes.

-Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

-Utilize your network to develop strong senior level relationships across the industry at leading buyside and sellside firms as well as with regulatory bodies.

-Set the direction for your business and own the outcomes.

You will need to have:

-10+ years experience in Fixed Income Rates markets

-Proven technical understanding of US Treasury market

-Demonstrated ability to develop thorough, integrated, commercially sound product plans

-Technical proficiency in creating detailed Business Requirement Specifications to be used by engineers as a blueprint for the product you are developing

-Experience defining a product vision along with short-term and long-term roadmaps in order to achieve it

-Experience leading product initiatives while collaborating with different groups in order to achieve the defined goals and a successful product launch

We'd love to see:

-Experience in trading US Treasuries

-Product Management experience in a D2C or D2D E-Trading business

-Strong understanding of technology architecture
