Program Description: TOP Clubhouse is an evidence-based model that empowers individuals with a mental illness to focus on their own personal recovery goals through a holistic paradigm that integrates education, employment, and socialization. This unique model allows members to grow more confident in a range of tasks by working side-by-side with staff and other members. This model challenges the stigma around the client versus clinician relationship which is the more traditional model in many day programs. The clubhouse model considers staff and members as colleagues and every individual has unique talents and strengths that enhance our community.
