Amazon Program Manager, GenAI/ML, Cross Portfolio in New York, New York

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The GenAI/ML WWSO team owns the AWS GTM strategy for both Generative AI and traditional AI/ML services and workloads on AWS with a mission to make AWS the best place for production GenAI.

We are seeking an accomplished business, program management, and enablement leader to build, own, and drive products that span SMGS.

This position requires a proactive, autonomous, and motivated individual with effective, professional communication. It will involve communicating with leaders of multiple business units, implementing changes to processes, clearly communicating expectations, holding leaders accountable, and producing timely, succinct reports with appropriate levels of detail. Innovation and simplification in the process is valued at any time, and the individual in this role is empowered to rapidly make necessary changes.

We're looking for someone with:

Strong program management experience driving system and process improvement

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, detail driven, and professional demeanor

Ability to self-prioritize workload, setting expectations on delivery dates and clearly communicating changes in schedule

A passion for delivering results and building trust with peers

An ability to work autonomously towards organizational goals

A desire to grow professionally as the role’s responsibility grows rapidly with the business

A desire to work backwards from your customer to understand the problem space and devise solutions to meet their needs

Work across multiple programs simultaneously

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
