AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings in New York, NY for a Project Structural Engineer.Duties: Perform structural analyses and assess the condition of existing bridges and facilities. Prepare reports related to assessment and recommendation. Perform structural rehabilitation/replacement/repairs design for bridges and facilities. Perform design alternative studies, analyze various design alternatives, perform cost optimization. Prepare technical specifications. Prepare final contract documents and PS&E package. Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Perform in-depth field inspection for bridges and facilities. Perform seismic analyses and design for bridges and facilities. Develop CAD drawings. Perform quantity takeoff and work on construction cost estimates. Perform load rating and bridge inspection. AASHTO, ACI and ASCE codes of design. Technical reporting. Utilize Microsoft Office Tools, Mathcad, AASHTOWare, AutoCad, Microstation, RISA, and LEAP Bridge Concrete. May telecommute.Minimum requirements for entry into the position: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, Structural Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a civil engineering-related occupation.Position requires:1. AutoCAD or Microstation;2. Seismic Analysis;3. Wind Analysis;4. Linear Static Analysis: Equivalent Lateral Force Analysis;5. Linear Dynamic Analysis: Response Spectrum Analysis;6.
