Robert Half Proposal Writer in New York, New York

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Proposal Writer in the heart of New York, New York. Being an integral part of our team, you will be primarily involved in the commercial real estate industry, crafting compelling proposals and requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs). This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from any location.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and write clear, persuasive proposals and RFPs that highlight our value proposition in the commercial real estate industry.

• Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to ensure proposals align with our strategic goals and objectives.

• Utilize various software tools such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Cisco Webex Meetings for efficient proposal creation and collaboration.

• Handle data mining techniques to gather necessary information and statistics for proposals.

• Keep track of proposal deadlines, ensuring all submissions are made on time.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the commercial real estate industry to create more impactful proposals.

• Manage customer inquiries, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Adhere to all compliance requirements related to proposal development.

• Participate in the budget process to ensure the financial viability of proposed projects. Requirements • Proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Cisco Webex Meetings.

• Experience with CRM and Data Mining Techniques.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software and budget processes.

• Proven track record in business development.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Understanding of compliance requirements in commercial real estate.

• Experience in commercial real estate sector.

• Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading proposals.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or related field preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
