Description We are looking for an experienced Public Staff Tax Accountant to join our team in New York. In this role, you will be tasked with managing various accounting software systems, working with CaseWare and CCH Prosystem, and handling individual tax returns. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and utilize accounting software systems to accomplish tasks effectively

• Regular use of CaseWare for various accounting operations

• Efficiently work with CCH Prosystem and CCH ProSystem Fx for specific tasks

• Prepare financial statements as required

• Handle individual tax returns with utmost accuracy

• Regularly update and maintain accurate records in CCH IntelliConnect. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax accounting role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with CaseWare is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with CCH Prosystem and CCH ProSystem Fx is a plus.

• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements.

• Experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns is necessary.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
