Jump Operations, LLC Quantitative Researcher I in New York, New York

(Mutliple Openings)Responsible for conducting research for the purpose of modelling and forecasting volatility across multiple global indices. Responsible for building and maintaining high performance trading applications, ranging from front-end applications that assist researchers to black-box systems that trade a variety of markets. Develop and test risk management methodologies, analyze exposures using stress testing and fiscal analysis techniques. Research new methods for capturing risk exposure and evaluate risk/reward and performance attribution across multiple asset classes; utilizing c++ and other software and systems to access applications that can identify and manage portfolio risk. Build and enhance asset/liability model for portfolios utilizing quantitative problem solving. Participate in determining efficient methods to calculate, store and extract fixed income security pricing and risk information on a software application server environment. Build and expand current revenue base by developing and exploring new opportunities. Manage and implement capital markets and investment strategies. Execute prototyping for large volume trading evaluation of market data. This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Must have experience or coursework in the following: (1) C++ and Python in a Linux setting; (2) Developing machine learning algorithm; (3) Solving finance-related probability, linear algebra, and abstract algebra problems within a finance setting; and (4) Using finance-related statistical methods.

Minimum Salary: 150000 Maximum Salary: 200000 Salary Unit: Yearly
