Neuberger Berman Regional Client Advisor - RIA in New York, New York

Summary:

As a member of the North American intermediary sales team, the primary responsibility of the RIA Hybrid Client Advisor (RHCA) is to promote and sell Neuberger Berman investment products through a curated list of RIA’s in Manhattan and around the country. Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters and possess excellent communication, presentation and commercial skills. The role is predominantly virtual with some local coverage and opportunities for strategic travel and attending conferences. The role is based in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with a curated list of roughly 850 RIAs in the “territory”

  • Leverage data to prepare for client engagement, profile clients appropriately and leverage CRM to memorialize opportunity set

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation frameworks and NB suite of product

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of RIA custodians and TAMPs

  • Be prepared to conduct live client meetings and zoom engagements

  • Appropriately leverage specialist resources effectively to attract/retain assets

  • Some limited strategic travel

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience necessary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Skillful with technology platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Y Charts etc)

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize to meet goals

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Series 7 & 63/65 or 66 licenses required

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
