Job Description

Insight Global Health is looking for a Linux Engineer for one of our largest Healthcare clients. He/She will be responsible managing, configuring, and optimizing our Linux-based systems to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure while supporting ongoing and new projects. This will include: manage and configure Red Hat Satellite Server for system provisioning and patching, designing and implementing network solutions, including troubleshooting and performance tuning, providing support for Ubuntu Linux, IBM/AIX systems, scripting in Perl, Bash, Python, and other languages to automate processes and tasks, etc. This will also include meeting with teams throughout the organization to understand the current needs of the project and where needs additional help.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux in an enterprise environment

 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Satellite Server

 5+ years of understanding networks and networking

 3+ years of experience in storage migration (LVM, ASM, Multipath)

 2+ years of experience with Ubuntu Linux, IBM/AIX

 3+ years of experience with Ansible Automation

 2+ years of experience with Performance Monitoring (Nagios)

 3+ years of VMware Administration Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) null
