Job Title: Research Project Manager Grade: 26 Salary: $96,740 - $115,377

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Project Manager position in the Mental Wellness Equity Center at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI).

Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct qualitative data collection, coding and analysis with various stakeholders (patients, family members, providers, policy makers, community leaders, social service agencies, churches. Validate brief screening tools for mental health needs. Evaluate the training, supervision, and implementation of a task-sharing initiative with Community Wellness Specialists (CWSs). Assist with all IRB submissions and ensure ethics compliance across the Center. Coordinate the activities of a team of volunteers conducting research activities related to the Mental Wellness Equity Center. Take minutes and distribute action points for all Equity Center meetings and activities. Assist with qualitative data collection, coding, and analysis. Writing requirements:

Contribute to the writing and editing of grant proposals, reports and other funding applications to support new initiatives. Draft and compile research reports, summaries, and briefs based on data analysis and findings. Assist in writing, editing, and formatting research papers or articles for publication in academic journals. Write clear and concise summaries of research and evaluation data, including data visualization and narratives that explain key findings. Prepare written communications such as memos, summaries of research updates, for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in drafting abstracts for presentations or writing proposals for new research projects.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four years of professional research experience in an appropriate field or master's degree in an appropriate field may substitute for one year of the experience.
