About the team

The Business Solutions team forSecurities Finance at FIS is a fast-paced, high-growth area focused on bringing maximum value to our capital markets and banking customers. FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform (formerly Apex Collateral) is a unique and innovative solution that offers enterprise-wide collateral management, optimization, and trading on a single platform. This solution helps financial institutions to make the best use of their inventory and to handle the fast-increasing volume and complexity of collateralized trading activities. FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform is structured in a modular way as we recognize that not all institutions will want to replace their collateral management infrastructure wholesale. This allows our customers to pick and choose the elements of the platform that best fit their specific requirements.

What you will be doing

As a part of theBusiness Solutions group, you will be leading our effortsinexpanding our Securities Finance footprintin themarket. The Sales Solution Consultant will work with customers to translate business requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system must do to fulfill the business requirements. After specifications are complete, the Sales Solution Consultant will beresponsible for coordinating with FIS Product, Sales and Professional Service teams, as well as presentations and demonstrations of functional aspects of the solution suite.

You will be the primary subject matter expert responsible for demonstrating the value our solutions to our customers through client meetings, responses to RFPs or solution inquiries, demonstrations and presentations, proofs of concept, and detailed workshops (when required).Job responsibilities include:

  • Provide in-depth demonstrations and presentationsto prospective clients
  • Answer all RFPs
  • Configure, test, and implement workflows and supporting business features in FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform (formerly Apex Collateral)for demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Lead workshops for proof of concept (when required)
  • Drive alignment between; Marketing, Go-To-Market, Professional Services, Product Management, and Sales organizations
  • Train internal Sales on the value of the solution

What you bring:

  • Securities finance trading and collateral background
  • Industry experience in collateral requirements for the global financial market, with particular experience in the North American market
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with open and transparent communication
  • A willingness to travel to customer sites to build relationships
  • An interest in technology and how it can help improve collateral performance
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously learn

Added bonus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with tax reporting and/or FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform (formerly Apex Collateral)
  • Capital Markets and Banking experience and understanding
