Senior Account Executive, Media and Branded Content Partnership Sales at Realtor.com ®

Location: Hybrid, New York

Are you a media sales expert? Are you eager to be the driving force behind the growth of our media and branded content business? Reporting directly to our VP, Media Sales, you will play a pivotal role in growing current business, and developing new business sales across the realtor.com portfolio. What you’ll do:

  • Manage client relationships from pitch, to sale, to execution with an eye on long-term, sustainable growth

  • Develop a pipeline of qualified prospects large enough to meet or exceed financial goals

  • Leverage pre-existing and build new deep, trusted relationships/partnerships with decision-makers at brands and their agencies

  • Expedite the sales cycle through an understanding of client marketing needs, realtor.com capabilities, and realtor.com’s value proposition

  • Leverage thoughtful 1P data targeting approach to drive media and branded content sales

  • Inspire team members by contributing creative sales ideas that impact overall goals and objectives

  • Accurately forecast revenue and proactively mediate challenges that impede sales growth

  • Have a creative approach to custom video, article and custom experience development on the Realtor.com platform

  • Attend conferences and client/agency networking events as needed

How we work

We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, our employees work three or more days in our offices, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in-person, adding richness to our culture and knitting us closer together. This is a hybrid role, reporting to our NYC-based office 2 times per week.

What you’ll bring:

  • A 10+ years revenue development career track focused on media and branded content sales in consultative selling style to Fortune 500 C-level decision makers and/or similar senior level agency decision makers

  • 5+ years experience selling to the home vertical preferred

  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven-figure media deals

  • Strong knowledge of the branded content landscape including industry trends, key players and terminology, with the ability to craft integrated marketing plans and solutions

  • Strong goal-orientation with proven experience in building a pipeline of new business and exceeding established financial targets

  • Robust analytical skills, including market strategy and a value-based selling process

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentations and presentations

  • Advanced negotiating skills

  • New York City-based

  • Ability to travel as required - 30%

  • Bachelor's degree (required)

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed location. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

The annual OTE for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 USD.
